In Trellia's future, The Skyway is an aquatic pathway levitating in the sky thousands of feet above the surface. For aquatic life, it acts as a bridge to other bodies of water that are otherwise inaccesible because of areas covered by land. Mountains, islands and greenery can be seen far below on the ground.
The Skyway is not an entirely stable body, as holes and ripples do occur within itself.
One of the larger sections is named The Tube of Medusa. It is lorded over by several giant Medusas. It is not entirely uniform as there are large sections that are broken off from each other. Ecco can jump between the different sections if he gains enough speed first.
